Textimage, one of my maintained Drupal modules, has recently received an update bringing support for the development build of Drupal 7.

While this may seem of minor importance given the early state of Drupal 7, I have taken it upon myself to make sure that all of my modules will be ready as early as possible after the release of Drupal 7 stable so as not to see a repeat of the, in my opinion, slow adoption rate of Drupal 6.

The other major change in these builds of Textimage is a re-written rotation algorithm which provides far more consistent results.

When a site/blog owner/maintainer has no longer the desire nor time to look after said site/blog, bad things are bound to happen. And happen they did, in the form of one failing spam-filter.

I have no idea how or why the filter (Akismet) failed, nor do I care enough to investigate, but the consequences where copious amounts of spam hitting the comments, which took many hours to remove.

You have noticed some slight changes made over the last few days. Some downtime, removal of the skins section and all the skins, and maybe a few other minor changes. It's all been in preporation for the launch of a new site; TheSkinDrop.com.

While checking my feeds yesterday morning I was pleasantly gifted with the news of a new Nokia N95 firmware release. After a quick glance at the story I did what any other proud N95 owner would do, drop everything to retrieve my Nokia USB charger and data cables and promptly upgrade my phone.

Well it was inevitable, I finally got some time to create my own Drupal Theme for the site, upgrade my Drupal installation and initiate some new site features.

The major addition at this stage is the 'Skins' section of the site, over time it will become a large collection of all Skins I deem worthy of my various devices, including Nintendo DS skins, PlayStation Portable Skins, Nokia N95 skins and many more.
