Sometimes you just have to ask "Why me?".

I've put a lot of time and money into my PC, but it really has caused me nothing but trouble.

A rocky start when the retailer turned the normally simple task of payment into a battle to the death, weeks later the motherboard deciding to pull more power than it needs and having to return it under warranty and buy a secondary motherboard (which later turned itself into a lovely HTPC), etc.

So yesterday afternoon I spent a few hours chatting with a mate of mine, Tim from One Inch Pixel, in regards to the perfect streaming setup.

Before I get into the our failed attempts let me first describe my setup and my requirements.

I have three main areas of my network in my house:

So I'm sitting at my computer late at night waiting for a download to finish, I start browsing around my regular blog feeds and then what do I come across? It appears Mr Cult himself, Steve Jobs, is in the news in a live blogging by Engadget.

I, like many others, hate my mobile phone.

I've been using an i-mate Smartphone2 for many months now, however it's just on loaner. The last phone I actually owned (Nokia 3230) was put through the washing machine, and I am still paying it off on contract.

I love music; I work in IT I'm able to listen to music while I work so therefore I listen to alot of music.

I have a black 60gig 5th generation iPod for my portable music needs and I have a Windows Media Center 2005 system for my primary home theater solution.

Months and months ago, maybe even a year has passed now, I came across a big problem with my music collection. It appears that iTunes and Windows Media Center/Windows Media Player like to store some of there meta-information differently, primarily the Album Art.
